Vicious Rumors, the legendary US power metal act originating from Santa Rosa CA, have signed a new record deal with the German label SPV/Steamhammer for the whole world except Japan.

SPV will release the new Vicious Rumors album, Razorback Killers, in March 2011.
Apart from the new material featuring in the record, there will be guest appearances by Mark McGee (guitarist, x-Vicious Rumors), Brad Gillis (guitar, Night Ranger, x-Ozzy Osborne) and Eric Peterson (guitar, Testament).

Whether you like it or not, they are legends man.

have you noticed that none of their albums are rated here? What I mean is that, on a site like Sputnik, there are a lot of users who know who are legendary, and still, this band is qualified as such without having any ratings, weird..

Now, they might just have been put up at the moment, in that case that just reinforces the first comment, and if all of this was irony, I take back what I've just said

@ Strider

The thing i realised from my almost 2-year experience from Sputnik is that the vast majority of its members have little to none interest for power metal, US or European.

Fair enough, but...

Just because VR don't have ratings here, doesn't mean that they are not of high value.

Throughout the internet and in the real world, VR has received considerable praise.

The aforementioned apply for numerous bands that stand in the dark in Sputnik.
