Singer-songwriter Frank Turner's new single, the recorded version of live favourite 'I Still Believe,' was premiered by BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe today.

The single, one of five tracks on his upcoming Rock & Roll EP, is accompanied by a new video, both of which you can check out on Lowe's website.

Rock & Roll EP will drop on December 6.

The song itself is incredible but it loses so much power on record, it's the most live song I've ever experienced. I'm slightly let-down by the mixing and production, but I realise it's an almost-impossible task to capture the live atmosphere on disc.

I agree with Knott. Live it was powerful, but that's because even though nobody really knew it he had the entire crowd singing it by teaching them the main chant/hook before playing it. And honestly you can say the same for most of his songs. They're better if you've got a beer in one hand and you're shouting along.

Plus, when I saw him do this he found out it was this girl in the audience's birthday and made her do the harmonica solo.

Precisely, Tyler.

Still, I'm glad to have a recorded version finally. I just wish it was a bit more raw.

Never heard this song live when I saw him (all being the fact that it was a support slot for Green Day) but this does sound awesome.

Haven't been this stoked for a new release in a while. Will be pretty damn happy if the whole EP is this good.

Even when the studio version is released, I'll probably just end up listening to a live version of the song. Music video is pretty good.

"first time hearing this guy. he's pretty awesome."

If you like this, get Love, Ire & Song, it's one of the easiest 5's I've ever given.
