Good song, drumming is really out of place for the most part.

that style of drumming is kind of their signature... I love it personally

It works when they're playing faster stuff, but it sounds like shit during their slower parts.

anyways, I'm a musician (got 10 years on guitar, 12 on piano and 10 on sax, taught lessons for sax and guitar in college) and I happen to dig it. not in all cases, but it works great for what this band is doing.

the song is flawless, anyone trying to pick apart the drumming doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about. this is perfection in music; none of you could make this song better.

does sound a bit too much like eif but i'm sure they said that's how it would turn out in one of their first updates for the album anyway

yeah dead oceans makes the album seem like it's going to be EiF part 2, but that doesn't make it any less amazing.

yeah I really don't see anything wrong with just building a bit on the EiF sound, most metal bands don't continually overhaul their entire sound/dynamic with each album

i wouldnt say its exactly the same - just expanding on the same sound. the fact that they have 3 strikingly differently releases prior to this should show that they have done the experimenting and are now content with their sound.

nice progression, taking their sound even further into the direction of everything is fire. good luck topping that one though! kinda different production on this track than on the last one

So stoked for this album to come out. EiF has been on constant repeat for me. The production has definitely changed with his one. Vocals sound more polished. Drums are more noticeable, which is awesome because he's definitely the spotlight of the band.
