Nine Inch Nails plans to release a reissue of its debut album Pretty Hate Machine on November 22.
The reissue will be worldwide and in digital, CD, and vinyl formats.
Reznor was able to locate the original mixes and thus allowed to "polish it up a bit."
I'll buy it for sure. Love that album.

Pre-order link bro.
Thanks. I need digital. I usually get my music through iTunes (or CDBaby if they have it).
remastered verison? actually pretty cool, pretty hate machine sounds outdated as fuck.
Pretty Hate Machine can legally consume alcohol in the U.S.
It's pretty old.
I think it will probably still sound outdated just because of the gear he was using when the album was made (and it has that typical TVT/Wax Trax sound of that era). He'd have to totally re-record the album to make it sound current.
But what happened to that Ultimate Fragile Reissue 2010??
Rerecording an album would be the worst thing any musician could do. I mean, he's a completely different person now.
There haven't been very good re-recordings, I agree. Look how Dave Mustaine messed up Rust in Peace on the parts he "fixed". Anacrusis' re-recordings are awesome, though.
The revamped cover for this is so cool
OMFG YES IM GONNA JIZZ ALL OVER THIS
Sweeet. I'm sure there are some amazing songs behind those shitty mixes. At the moment, they're just "really good first release" songs that still can't hold a candle to Reznor's best releases (TDS, anyone?)
...I just came.
I have the original on vinyl..
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
just so weird.
So totally getting this. Sin is my late night soundtrack.
love that video
sounds like a buy, even if i only heard this like 2 or 3 times.
Really awesome news. I'll definitely have to pick this up.
Obviously it wont sound modern in any sense. Damn thing was recorded in the late 80's after all. I'm sure, having the masters handy, Reznor could use the talents he's developed since the recording of this album to polish it up a bit. The revised album art might be a sign of that. It looks tits.
I've been waiting all year for the anticipated Fragile re-release. Doubt that will happen before the year is over, though . Hopefully early next year!
Please give the fragile the old spruce up and 5.1 treatment next, thx trent :x
don't tell those little white, don't tell those little white, dont tell those little white lies
Amazing album. This got me into NIN.
Excellent! This is one of those cd's that's just quieter than most so I tend not to listen to it as much as I'd like.
^don't make him do the truffle shuffle again (poor kid)

I actually changed it cause I keep seeing that it's playing on TV for Halloween and I LOVE the movie. Chunk and I have a lot in common, first of all our lovie for Rocky Road ice cream.
sean astin is in that movie and it made me think when I see him in movies still today "how gd old is this dude."
Not just that how uch he weighs to be Sam Wise Gamgee.... wtf.
I tried getting into this when i was like 13 and hated it. Maybe it's time for a retry?
Digging: Leonard Cohen - Songs Of Love And Hate
I loved it when I was 13. But it got even better as I aged. Definitely give it a retry.
sweet. i love that album and i'm glad he is remastering that shit
Digging: Tullycraft - Lost in Light Rotation
Will buy on vinyl.
Digging: Demilich - Nespithe
Is there going to be a vinyl preorder at some point?
Pretty Hate Machine is my favorite NIN album (The Downward Spiral just didn't do it for me, sorry guys), so I'll consider getting this.
Ah... what the fuck... Trent's made me happy enough in the way he's stuck it to the music industry, I'll buy this just to support him.
looks like get down, make love will be a bonus track
