Holy fuck holy fuck holy fuck
Digging: Lorde - Melodrama
This is my first listen. My friend says he likes it more each time he listens to it.
Wait, normal length song titles? What the hell is going on here.
album is awesome even though it contains auto-tune
gonna give it more listens though
3.4 is way too low; sputnik seems to be less-friendly with musics with electronic elements than other sites
Dammit! And I was expecting to have a calm, zappa riddled day. *begrudgingly clicks link*
Sounds nice. Y'all niggas is crazy. Wish I could hear the whole thing, but I got to get to class
album isn't bad... Stop the hatin'
Word. I actually might like this more than Illinois, as crazy that seems. I'm REALLY digging this.
Not better than Illinoise. May be on par though
Illinoise = 4.2-4.6
This = 4.1-4.5
is where it sits for me
NPR's sound quality kinda bad but album is REALLY GOOD
so many good surprises from this man, gonna listen when i get home
can't wait to check out
illinoise is a 5/5 (im the biggest fanboy for it on the site)
ive heard two songs off of this already and those together are a 2/5
yeah seriously this is excellent.
Kinda boring but I'll have to listen to it some more.
Almost done listening to it. It's really not electronica, even though it has heavy electronic elements. Seems alot like Kid A in that respect. Kind of like Kid A in several respects, actually. Definitely will give more listens.
someone just tagged me in a post on facebook saying its really good so maybe i'll give it a listen but i don't have the heart to tell them i don't like his other work too much
The EP is much better.
Yeah he's definitely pulling a Radiohead at parts. But everything's great except for that autotune. Doesn't he know that effect can't be used for 28 years until it can be taken seriously?
The autotune in the closer is cringe-worthy.
I would imagine a review summary making a Kid A reference . Seriously, though I want to buy this album.
enh i don't see the kid a comparison at all. all it is is a bunch of electronic buzzes and stuff on top of sufjan's characteristic style.
and although the autotune is awful, the vocoders are nice.
