Detroit metalcore outfit For the Fallen Dreams have posted a demo of a new song entitled 'Strange Faces' to MySpace.
The band wrote: "We will be working very hard writing and preparing for our third full-length that is untitled as of now. So far the material we have is coming out exactly the way we wanted it to. As cliche as it sounds, this will most definitely be the best FTFD record to date. It will be 10x heavier, 10x prettier, catchy and fun. We hope all of you will be as stoked as we are!"
o hey sounds like every song on relentless
Seems like they are adding more crappy singing this time around, damn it sucks that they are from my city.
It will be 10x heavier, 10x prettier, catchy and fun.
aka. gonna suck
As long as they sound like a generic and less-good version of Misery Signals I'll be satisfied
''As long as they sound like a generic and less-good version of Misery Signals I'll be satisfied''
They hardly pull that off good.
Detroid is what I'm going to call my new dubstep project. I just decided that.
They're from Lansing btw. Nowhere near Detroit. Also, they're fucking horrible.

I hope you are serious about a dubstep project.
As for this song....so fake. Gotta hate.
I couldn't be more serious. I'll post a song or two on here eventually.
L@ Detroid. i won't listen to this because they're just a weak rip-off of misery signals.
Sweet, lemme know Satellite.
I wonder if these guys get bored of playing their songs on their month-long tours
Yea Satellite, let me know also. Can i do guest vocals
Let me in on a remix too or something :D
Biggest shock of my life when I saw the singer, thought he would look more Karl-like. Instead, I see a bean stalk.
Arrrgh, song is not great. Cleans are unwanted and they sound as if they were sung through a pillow.
First album was great.

It's a demo which is probably why I could barely hear the cleans
This doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't even touch Changes
Sounds like everything else they've done.
Well Relentless and Changes were pretty different so that statement doesn't really mean anything. I'd listen to this if I wasn't in the middle of a lecture. Bloc disliking this is not a good sign though haha.
ahh sucks ass.
but honestly what has this band ever done?
They aren't that great, but Brothers in Arms, The Call Out Perceptions and A Plethora Of are good songs. And they were pretty good when I saw them live.
I've only heard Relentless, and it sucked. This song sucked as well.
I don't really get the Misery Signals comparisons at all.
If anyone was comparing them to Misery Signals it'd be because of Changes. Not sure how good of a comparison that is though.
Brothers in arms was a decent song, ill give them that. But i always thought it was a poor mans misery signals.
Their not even from detroit, there from lansing, dylan went to okemos high school lol. Detroit and Lansing are completely different...
Ok, there's Andy, Dylan, and Jim... Who the hell are those other two guys?
I agree with this band being being a poor man's Misery Signals, especially in Changes but damn they sounded so good there.
Unimpressed. Granted it was a demo but the cleans sucked and the guitar wasn't as heavy as they're saying.
Speaking of mis sigs.... i'm ready for new material.
yea and make it more mirrorsy
Claimin' Detroit when y'all live twenty eighty miles away.
Just listened to this. I was digging it for the first minute, but those cleans are so out of place. Kinda sounds like someone spliced a The Hi-Fi Horizon chorus in there. Way too drawn out and not nearly aggressive enough for the style of music they're playing.
I am not a fan of this.
changes was the only thing good about this band imo
Eh, was ok. I've heard worse anyway.
hmm don´t wether to like or hate it....
normally I like the singing on their other records, but this chorus isn´t near as good.I just hope they won´t focus too much on the singing on the whole record
"It will be 10x heavier, 10x prettier, catchy and fun. We hope all of you will be as stoked as we are!"
Isn't this what all bands say and it ends up being 10x more shit.
I went to high school with the singer and bassist. you couldn't find better examples of what a douchebag is.
Don't worry dude maybe you will win battle of the bands next year.
these are great live there new vocalist is horrible in general though he was the worst thing that ever happened to them
Isn't this what all bands say and it ends up being 10x more shit.
band sucks sweaty manballs.

Relentless and the new album would be tolerable if they had their singer from changes still. The new guy is just worse in every way
this band is good and so is the new vocalist. if you like the old guy go listen to legend.

Fuck you guys are a bunch of haters you make it seem as if all of you can do better, give them a chance, already judging on one fucking song you pricks. Fuck, do guys know how hard it is to make new material, obviously not, and after having two albums out that are still pretty good for their genre, and trying to out do those is really hard. Give them a chance wait then judge, just cause they have clean vox doesn't automatically mean it isn't going to be heavy, Miss May I have clean vox and they are still heavy! Duh!! Stupid asses
