Hopefully the cover isn't the best thing about this album. Also, I hope it doesn't just sound like Gnostic with a different singer since most of Gnostic seems to be in the band.

Pumpeddddddddd

According to Flynn and Schaefer, not only did Tony Choy not contribute any decent material for the band anyway, he only inhibited the songwriting and recording processes.
So... I wonder how the bass will really be, we will have to see. I don't have the highest of expectations.
What the hell is on that cover?
Where is the Rush cover? bonus material?

The lack of Tony Choy is substantially upsetting. Tracks have great names, album art is jizztastic... but I feel like the vocals will be a downfall, just based on the style previously used... 15+ years ago. Yeah, Cynic made a comeback, but they used fucking cleans + voc coder. This guy was basically shrieking pure throat (still

Is my comment only showing half for everyone else? Meh... and fuck. I called it (@ Josh' comment). They best studio the shit out of them.

This album is going to be BAD. "I believe the tension is what caused us to create this kind of music. You can't create that in a "Reunion Situation" which is why we think a reunion, beyond playing a show or two, is inevitably a bad idea" - Kelly Shaefer, on Unquestionable Presence.

Considering they released Unquestionable Presence right after their bassist tragically died before he finished recording the bass parts, I have a good feeling history will repeat itself since Tony Choy left at an inconvenient time.
In other words, this album will be awesome.
|
| |
Damn, this will be very interesting. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
