For the first time since his departure from Evanescence in 2003 guitarist Ben Moody speaks out about the relationship he had with Amy Lee, the band, and what lead to his departure.
The post can be viewed here:
this isn't 2003 go away
um you're a little late my friend

Since when did Evanescense get their own message board?
I thought the band died years ago.
And we're supposed to care.
Ben Moody comes out would have made a better article.
Bed Moody comes in your face would have been better still
ben moody is moody.
the one thing that IS sorta cool/interesting/not a complete waste of time:
I went quietly and peacefully. Evanescence didn't miss a single show. There was absolutely no argument over rights and ownership. I owned 50% of the trademark and property value of the now very valuable brand of Evanescence. I gave it to Amy free and clear. I asked for no buyout, no negotiations. Just a clean break.

Yeah, he fucked up. Can't believe I read the whole thing. That's 10 minutes of my life I'll never have back. Oh well. At least I got paid.
Wow...I read all of that and most if it was the same thing. However, gotta give the guy the credit he deserves. He's right.
Ben moody is an ironic name.
i am 12 and what is this
Cant's say I care for either band, but if everything he wrote is true, I think its very admirable what he did.
I would love to get head from Ben Mo-..... I MEAN, Amy Lee. Yeah, Amy Lee! I said Amy Lee
It's a wall of text, but it's actually pretty interesting if you read it. He keeps stressing over and over that he just left everything he's even done in Evanescence with no arguments at all just so that it could continue. He seems like a really nice, reasonable guy. I'm not a fan of WATF but it's something he's doing for himself, so good for him.
I've been interested in the new Evanescence album for awhile, but it's taking so long to be released I'm losing interest. Amy claimed there would be Bjork influences and a lot of other crazy shit so who knows...it could be cool.
Cool story, bro(yeah, i'm not reading that).
"I gave it to Amy free and clear. I asked for no buyout, no negotiations. Just a clean break."
ALL I EVER ASKED
WAS FOR A CLEEEEEAN BREEEEEAK
I'd give it to Amy for free..
I'd give it to Amy for free..

Amy's head looks like a lightbulb. Also, Jesus hates her.
Never been a big Evanescence fan, but this guy has a good head about him. Props to him.
