Liberty Kings guitarist Eoghan MacAoidh was killed in a car accident on Thursday night following a performance outside Manchester, while bandmate Brian Kelly remains in critical condition.

The Irish rock band, who had just kicked off their first UK tour, were traveling on the M1 through Leicestershire when their camper van collided with two commercial trucks. Police have confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Lead singer Darragh Kelly, bassist Colm Slattery and drummer Jason Lawless were also involved in the crash but sustained only minor injuries.

Wow killed sounds so much more brutal than died.

Although I don't know anything he was associated with in life I'm sure this is a great loss to his family, friends and fans, RIP.

RIP.

You know looking at it, how hard would it be for ICP to get in a car accident? I mean they have to do a shit ton of drugs and alcohol, you'd think one of these days they would get in a car and crash somewhere. But nope, only good musicians get to die :/
