Really looking forward to this aswell... even though I don't listen to Dream Theater so much anymore, Portnoy is undoubtedly a great drummer ( but yeah I agree...don't let him sing...). As for Wilson and Akerfeldt, well Porcupine Tree and Opeth are my top 2 bands so I'm quite eager to hear this... trying not to get my hopes up too high though...

Wilson? Genius. Akerfeldt? Metal god. And Portnoy just doesn't seem to fit in those pictures. [Portnoy] is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but don't put him in with Wilson and Akerfeldt. Their collaborations are bigger than Portnoy will ever be.

Three good members of three awesome bands collaborating does NOT an awesome project make. Supergroups fall flat more often than not...so I'll have to see where this goes (when it gets completed in 2032, that is).
