This is actually a pretty good song. I didn't like it when I first heard it, I think it was because the stream was pretty weak. There is some cool guitar work going on. Dean is the man. Plus, that chick is hot!
| |
Agreed. The song is good. Classic rock'n'roll sound rules.
| |
Really diggin this song. Vid was cool, chick was hot. Scott's epilepsy made me lol.
| |
Not to be a buzzkill or anything but I don't like this song/video at all
| |
Bagman is a better song.
| |
Velvet Revolver Part II
| |
yeah this sounds way too much like Velvet Revolver
| |
Nah, Velvet Revolver wasn't this boring.
| |
I don't hear the Velvet Revolver in it, but then again, I never listened to Velvet Revolver. This sounds like STP to me, I don't know if you guys have ever heard anything by STP other than Core before, but if anything Velvet Revolver sounded like STP because Scott was in the band.
| |
Am i the only STP fan that doesn't like this song? Its like they took the popiest stuff from Tiny Music and multiplied it by 10. Guitar is fuckin sexy though
| |
No Rev. Go to the news article where they first announced it. Lotta people fuckin' hated it.
| |
Song was ok, still not expecting much from the album but this is encouraging
| |
the chorus is the stupidest fucking thing i have ever heard
| |
Rev, I can agree with your comment right there. I do hope it is like Tiny Music, but yeah, not overly poppy as this one. I don't mind some pop, but not overdoing it. The chorus isn't strongest point. I didn't like this song at first, but the guitars kind of turn me on.
| |
Shitty song tbh, but theres a hot chick in the video so it evens it out lol
| |
Man, I can't wait to get this song and listen to it while I eat dry toast in my magnolia coloured kitchen.
| |
Good song, shit video. I'm expecting a very solid rock album from these guys - Nothing more, nothing less.
| |
I had to go listen to Core to cleanse myself after listening to that horrid song.
| |
This song is tearing up the charts
| |
wtf guys this owns
| |
The song is just about as basic as you can get...it's like their reduced to writing this so Weiland can handle new material without frying what's left of his brain.
...oh, and "we used to do drugs" how sad/cliche/utterly predictable
Think I'll go listen to purple
| |
This is quite good.
Decent guitar, interesting base line, solid drums. Not the most interesting track but certainly some quality elements. I think it would be quite a bit better live. If the rest of the album builds on this I'll be happy.
| |
To me Core is their worst album. Yeah, it has good songs, but they were just trying to find their sound. Purple and Tiny Music is where it is at, and from this song, I am hoping it is a tiny music endeavor. the chorus is somewhat stale, but the music is really good if you actually listen to it. I just have a feeling the rest of the album will be better, but we will hear I guess.
| |
ya i dont really hear the velvet revolver in this
| |
i thought this would suck but i really enjoyed it, if the new album has elements of tiny music on it i'm stoked that is my favorite stp album.
| |
I am enjoying this much more, just needed a couple more listens for me. Purple and Tiny Music is where its at.
| |
"You always were my favorite drug,
Even when we used to drugs."
Hilarious.
Sounds like Velvet Revolver it does not. I actually thought it sounded kinda like Freak Show-era Silverchair.
| |
love it
| |
The punny song title made me lol.
| |
I didn't comment on this, wtf is it doing in the My Discussions tab?
