Nachtmystium Detail New Album
2010-04-06 by Tyler Munro EMERITUS | 15 Comments
US black metal band Nachtmystium have released details regarding their Addicts: Black Meddle Pt. II. The follow up to 2007's Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. I, Addicts will feature Wrest (of Leviathan fame) on drums and Will Lindsay (of Wolves in the Throne Room) on bass. It will also feature guest vocals from Yakuza's Bruce Lamont and guitar solos from Pentagram's Russ Strahan Pharaoh's Matt Johnson.

Commenting on the upcoming album's sound, vocalist Blake Judd says, "Our love for post rock and industrial (a la Ministry, Killing Joke, etc) is even more present this time around. We feel that we made a record that will continue to push extreme music into uncharted territories. We hope to see you all soon."

The album is set to be released June 8th via Century Media records.

1. Cry For Help
2. High on Hate
3. Nightfall
4. No Funeral
5. Then Fires
6. Addicts
7. The End Is Eterna
8. Blood Trance Fusion
9. Ruined Life Continuum
10. Every Last Drop

Instinct: Decay and Demise are both great. I heard Doomsday was great, too. Black Meddle Pt.1 was atrocious, though, and the quote re: pt.2 makes me think it'll follow suit.

Can't wait for this.

Unlike most here, I really enjoyed Black Meddle Pt.1

There are only a few songs on Pt 1 that stuck out to me but I hope this is interesting.

This actually makes me happy, really like how they're just all over the map and yet they can still write some catchy stuff.

I don't see how anyone can like Demise. Sounds like a terribly underproduced demo.

I guess for bm its fine but it just kind of muddled everything together for me a bit too much.

Whew man, hopefully this album is better than their last. Too bad Wrest won't be writing their songs for them or they might be interesting.

Their last album was pretty interesting, that just isn't necessarily a good thing.
