last album was plain as could be, with only one decent song. i'll keep my eye on this, but i'm not expecting much

HMMMMM... I love CMC, and this song sounds like a good step forward. It actually has riffs...!?

This was kinda average, didn't spark my interests. Regardless, I liked their last album somewhat and still listen to a few tracks still so I will certainly check the whole thing out. Judging from this I predict 2.5 - 3.5, doubtful on the 3.5 though.

Right on. It's not a bad song by any means. It just sounds exactly like the last album's songs. Which isn't a bad thing either. It's just... meh.

I personally think this is terrible. The first album was best. Last album was ok. This is no good.

Is this anywhere near worthy of even listing Cynic as a influence?

depends on your opinion of cynic

the song is better than old VOM there is way more energy here, and it's just more aggresive.

but the band is still just slightly above average, as usual. the vocalist kills it for me, he's so dang boring.

Song sounds a bit like Obscura....

I like the pretty art on their myspace.

obscura is necrophagist without the souless wankery. veil of maya is the definition of average

Hmm... Just noticed that their myspace is calling this their sophomore record. So i guess All Things is no longer a CD...?

I agree, the art was the best part of this. Really glad they're not using the generic ILLEGIBLEBANDNAMEFONT sumerian imagery.

Obscura my ass!

Obscura is not a chug fest with a contrasting "dual vocal attack."

Overally, this still doesn't impress me.
