Actually that would be kinda cool, but I thought there was A LOT of bad blood between Hopesfall and Trustkill... we'll see
Let's hope this never happens.
Why would a split up band release an EP on a label they hate?
maybe they aren't spilt up anymore? i dunno.
Hasn't it been Jay Forrest + whoever he drags in for years anyways?
Unless it's some unreleased stuff that Trustkill owns the rights to? B-Sides etc...
Which would be pretty cool anyway. Love me some Hopesfall.
if it is new material im hoping josh b will be on it
I thought it was announced a long time ago that Jay was going forward with a different, yet to be announced, name?
i think they were supposed to release some b side stuff a while ago this is probably it
Yeah, I remember him saying he was starting a different band since all the original members left
If this were Satellite Years era Hopesfall I'd be all over this but it's not so I'm going to just ignore this.
ugh, I hope this is decent. Grew up loving frailty of words, no wings to speak of, and satellite years but was thoroughly let down by the writing/lineup present on A-Types and Magnetic North.
i love hopesfall so i hope this is the case. but they said in a blog that they HATE the owner of Trustkill.
hmm seems unlikely...
YaY! i LoVe HoPeSFaLL!!
meh I could never really get into them
band does no wrong.
heres hoping for a satelite years throwback...
As awesome as this is, i'll believe it when I see it
Digging: Theo Parrish - American Intelligence
as long as it has the original guitarist and Jay Forrest it will be good, theyve been all the band has for a while now.... bassist was arite tho i guess
Anybody knows the name of Jay`s new band?
Hey Everybody... This is the deal...
Hopesfall is NOT back together as you know the band. The only 2 members from the previous line-up are Jay Forrest and Jason Trabue. There are no original members left. Either Jay and Jason have found 2 new guitar players and a bass player... Or, Jay is recording vocals over 2 songs that never got finished from the "Magnetic North" session. Regardless, I just wanted you all to know that this is not a revival of the hopesfall line-up that you have come to know and love. I'm sure that whatever these guys decide to write will be awesome and I wish the best to them. I just thought it was fair to let the fans know the truth about the situation.
Let me really set the record straight.
I have nothing to do with Hopesfall.... I guess its cool some people still think I'm apart of the band but sadly.... I'm not.
I have my own band in Kansas City that I enjoy & have a lot of work lined up with Motion City Soundtrack as they start a tour cycle in 2010.
As for Jay I'm not sure where this is coming from?? He, I & Stacey Hilt from The Casket Lottery have talked of doing a project as a side thing. But nothing has come from that at all!
So yeah enjoy old Hopesfall records because that's all you will ever get. Trustkill is a piece of shit & a label I'd never work with again... I have a feeling a few other people wouldn't either.
See ya'll laaaaater!
In a way, it's pretty cool.
They should've made a news article, would've been better
Awesome! Can't wait to hear what you guys write. Casket Lottery ruled!
i'm glad to have you guys set the record straight haha
It better have Josh Brigham and Ryan Parrish in it. The band couldn't survive without both of them.
I was a huge fan of early Hopesfall (frailty,no wings, satellite years) and was thoroughly dissapointed when i heard A types at the end of 04 when it came out. So I basically wrote Hopesfall off. Then my friend bought Magnetic North and really turned me on to it. Its a real good CD and now Im just starting to get into A Types which is also a pretty good CD. Im looking foward to some new stuff as long as josh brigham is involved and its not just another 4 new guys and jay forrest
I will be releasing a EP with Mr. Forrest doing vocals on two of the five tracks. It will be
available soon! Stay tuned..
