It doesn't have anything on it that really comes close to the best of Career Suicide (maaaaaybe Bulletproof Tiger or Skid Rock), but every song hints towards another outstanding full length. Great stuff from AWS yet again.
Its good yeah; was hoping for 4.5 - 5 material though. From the rapid fire lyrical delivery of 'every great story has a shower scene', to the phenomenal bass lines of skid rock that we now expect after career suicide.. As a cohesive piece its a wee bit of a let down. If you view it as a 'eclectic mix' (T. Reilly words) of all the avenues the band have gone down since mute print its satisfying.
Personally hoping they can pull another ace out of their sleeve to make the next big step for whatever's next
