Kim Coletta, bassist for the recently reunited Jawbox, has stated that she is open to recording and touring new material, saying:
I'd love to [tour and record again]. It would be the coolest thing in the world. [The Jimmy Fallon performance is] a safe way of seeing if it's still fun to play together, or get back together. It's an easy way to test the waters. I can't say whether it's going to lead to a full-length show or any touring, but we'll see. We're taking it one step at a time.
The band is set to play their first show in over 12 years on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on December 8th, as well as reissue their landmark album For You Own Special Sweetheart later in the month.
i was just thinking about reviewing either Scrapbook or Novelty last night... hmm this is obviously a sign.
