Teens Arrested For McDonald's Rap
2009-10-29 by Dave Donnelly STAFF | 64 Replies | 13749 Views

Four Utah teenagers have been ordered to face charges of disorderly conduct after performing a rap from a popular Youtube video at McDonald's.

The four students from Lone Peak High School in American Fork, Utah performed the rap, which begins with the line "I need a double cheeseburger and hold the lettuce...," twice, causing workers to ask them to either order or leave as they were holding up other customers.

One of the accused, Spencer Dauwelder, denied that there was anyone in line at the time. "We thought, you know, just teenagers out having fun," he told KSL Newsradio in a phone interview. "We didn't think it would escalate to that."

The four left without ordering, but were later tracked down by police at a volleyball game and issued with citations. The McDonald's employees had claimed that the teenagers used vulgar language and that workers had felt threatened by their behaviour. The accused deny acting in a threatening manner, and claim that only one vulgar word was used.

The boys' parents plan to contest the charges.

The original McDonald's Rap can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sw2OvIgoO8

Rapping is acting in a threatening manner in the great state of Utah.

HA HA I live in utah, I live honestly two blocks from the high school that these kids went to .... its a bunch of super rich ass kids who do whatever they please because their parents have money .... I guarantee they were being huge fuckers to the workers and they deserved to be arrested ..... but to answer your question, I dont ski or snowboard, all I do is watch the jazz ...... I hate winter ....

Ugh, I hate the Jazz. I don't even know why anymore, I just started hating them in the 90s (I'm from Chicago -- Bulls fan) and I've never been able to get over the Karl Malone/Jeff Hornacek/Greg Ostertag/Adam Keefe years. I even really like Deron Williams, but can't ever get myself to like the Jazz.

Yeah I remember seeing that fast food freestyle way back, thought everyone would have thought it was corny by now.

Well it's Utah, maybe they had just saw it and thought it was hilarious.

I'm sure they were being more vulgar and an annoyance than they say they were. The employees wouldn't have called the police if they were 'just having fun.' People that act like assholes in public places deserve to get punished anyway. Just stick to your business and be polite, fuck.

lol, I have this rap as my ringtone for my brother.

The Youtube video wasn't the guys who got arrested. It was probably like what everyone else said, some douchbags trying to be cool instead being a public disturbance instead.

Also, I'm in full support of this
