Who did i piss off on this site that wont put my news on the front? And no, its not just because its creed, my last 2 news articles didn't show up and just got deleted and then 5 minutes later someone else does it and its posted?
Ok i fixed that, sorry bout the rant, just a little confused.
you just have to wait until a mod allows it
Ok i fixed that, sorry bout the rant, just a little confused.
Still a few errors
"A few sites and radio stations have begun playing Creed's new single "Overcome". It can be heard at this link and probably on most radio stations by now."
wow that vocalist sucks
repay me in oral sex
i thought this band died? i was so happy
that you thought they died or that they made a new song?
is this as bad as i think it is? i'm at school, so i can't actually listen to it.
This is like having the worst dream ever, waking up and realizing it was just a dream, and going back to bed and having the same dream again
As a former Creed fan, this is a good song.
the opening riff is actually good
Not as bad as I thought it'd be.
Creed were never that bad, but this is not good. And by "not bad" I mean "pretty bad", but not not as bad as Sputnik thinks.
Song is a solid 2. Introduction was almost cool.
Someone else needs to hate this besides me
I hate this.
I feel better now
I posted news a while ago about Arsis and someone edited the sh*t out of it making it look way better, and still posted it under my name.
To whoever did that: Your f*cking awesome!
Digging: Rort - Warpath
wasn't that bad.
still pretty bad.
but not as bad as i thought it'd be.
the best only bearable Creed song is that overdubbed youtube one
"grooooo, i can take of my gloves, yeaaa."
I don't see what everyone's complaining about. It's a good mainstream rock song, the guitarist tore up on that solo. This will get pretty overplayed though.
It sounds like Creed ripped off Daughtry, who ripped off Creed, who ripped off Pearl Jam.
Also, Scott Stapp is a drunk midget who will stalk women for sex. And he also occasionally likes balls dangled in or around his facial region. And if you play your cards right, he will even put them in his mouth!
^above post was almost TOO epic
Digging: United Nations - The Next Four Years
I AM OVERCOOOOOOOOME
I don't think I have the willpower to listen to this. I'm close to mailing my faeces to Scott Stapp as it is...
song was better than most radio shit. had an excellent solo.
the vocals were garbage though.
Digging: Fallujah - The Flesh Prevails
not as bad as i thought it was gonna be
The world just stopped turning.
Digging: Monarch - Sabbracadaver
i'm not gonna listen to this. i don't have a high enough capacity to hate things to be able to hear it.
eh its pretty bad...but if i still listened to creed like i did in 8th grade, i would probably dig it.
hellz to the yeah
been waiting for this all morning
About a minute into listening to the song I turned it off, laughed at myself, and kicked my own ass. It only felt right.
I thought it was a decent song. Tremonti is the shit and he never fails to impress. I always liked the rest of the album more than their singles so im sure i will like the rest of the album more.
At least there was shredding.
Nope, sorry, this was every bit as horrible as I though it'd be.
Digging: Dikembe - Mediumship
the grand fist pumpin' engine revvin' head stompin' ostrich shootin' forest firin' anthem of 2009, empty the ash tray and order another pitcher of whiskey, there is more to come
well it's not as bad as it could have been, but it's still just generic radio rock. any Alter Bridge material beats this song easily.
and Scott Stapp is still one of the most annoying vocalists/human beings ever.
Scorpoin its because Alter Bridge is clearly the better band of the two.
i agree with your view on stapp. creed has 2 good songs, both off of weathered, and neither one was a single.
song was ok only beacuse mark tremonti is the guitarist.
well yeah everyone knows Alter Bridge pwns Creed. i was just making sure there was no question about that fact. stating the obvious i guess.
and yes Tremonti is fantastic. makes them bearable. but i would still pick any of his work on Blackbird over the solo in this song.
good to have them back, but mediocre song - especially facing all the recent alter bridge material...
Digging: Everley - The Tyger and the Lamb
As a Creed fan, this song blows hardcore. It's tossed out the generic radio rock of yesteryear for the generic radio rock of today. Which automatically makes it a lot worse.
Creed embodies "meh" in every sense of the term. Solo was crap too stop fellating Mark Tremonti he is a bad bad man.
Solo was crap too stop fellating Mark Tremonti he is a bad bad man.
whats with all the dissing! the tremonti's solo is awesome, its more alter bridge than creed.
Needs more Myles Kennedy.
has nobody commented on that absolute repulsive band pic we've got goin on for them, lmao.
look at that absolute repulsive band pic
wow you're right, how did i not see that!
they dont really deserve much better.
sounds just like every mainstream rock song that gets radio plays once every 10 minutes!
this will without a doubt join those songs. be prepared. it will rape all radios across america
It's no Altar Bridge...
This bored the crap out of me :/
Wow, that was pretty bad, but who expected otherwise? haha
Needs more everything.
Except Scott Stapp.
"It's no Alter Bridge..."
Agreed. It was nice to see them choose a song with a sweet solo for the first single though. Mark Tremonti has really developed his skills through his other projects like Alter Bridge and Fret12!
Your name an Alter Bridge reference?
Alter Bridge were fucking terrible.
What do you mean were you Moron....
its now available at iTunes. sounds better with better quality. i'm not hating it.
Oh man, I was excited by the idea they'd broken up. Way to ruin my day moran.
Patting myself on the back right now.
Alterbridge is a better band, and I hope they don't disband for Creed... however this isn't bad... the chorus is "catchy" if you like that sort of stuff. This definitely has it's Alterbridge roots and I can even hear Mark Tremonti's vocals in the chorus. Sounds like Scott Slapp's Ego has calm down and he's allowing the other band members to show their talent. Anyway not a bad song......
oh and mainstream radio rock does not have guitar solos.... for the most part... or at least anything thing half descent...this song does
