Fat People Shouldn't Stagedive 2009-05-22 by Jom STAFF | 26 Replies | 2120 Views
Who says metal has to be super serious?
At a recent Exodus/Kreator show (the final show of the tour), one fan submitted the following video/documentation:
For the final song of the evening, the guys from Exodus (and, I guess, the other opener bands and roadies) came out on stage in drag, dressed as cheerleaders and spelling out 'hate' on their shirts.
The whole thing was really bizarre, but I had my video camera out and recorded it all, then Rob Dukes (Exodus' vocalist) decided to stage dive right onto my head.
I've been to hundreds of metal shows but I'd never had a 300lb guy in a cheerleader costume stage dive onto my head before. I kept my camera from getting hit but I still fell to the floor.
Rob Dukes is too big to crowd surf!
Someone helped me get up and I recorded the rest of the set.
