Hah yea the co-headlining choice is interesting. I hate half of these bands and like to love the other half. Sucks that the closest this is coming to me is Nissan Pavillion in VA...that venue is just awful.

I always wonder what bands like Behemoth think when they share backstage space with bands like Trivium and BFMV. The sad thing is...I don't know who is cheesier out of those bands.
And I've always been interested to hear how Slayer fans reacted to Trivium when they opened for them...cause I know the majority of Slayer fans loved Killswitch when they opened for them. This Message Edited On 02.25.09

this is actually a decent lineup (i dont really like any of the bands that much but they are all pretty big names). but aren't slayer and cannibal corpse fans going to be beating up bfmv fans? It seems like those two crowds would clash.

Heard this awhile back. Not too interested to see Trivium and BFMV but I'll go for the rest.

Nissan Pavillion in VA...that venue is just awful.
What don't you like about Nissan? It's not that bad though Merriweather is miles ahead of it. Killswitch makes this worth going to as long as ticket prices aren't crazy. As much as I really don't care about their new stuff I'd really like to see Slayer since it sounds like they are going to call it quits pretty soon.

Agreed about merriwhether...that and merriwhether is 10 minutes from my house. Nissan's sound is too low, their security are all dicks. Last concert I went to there they wouldn't even allow tailgaiting, regardless of age. The parking situation sucks...I just hate that place...and it could be so cool...that's the worst part.

Whoa dude. You live super close to me. I live 10 minutes from Merriweather though I'm in College Park at school right now. Crazy. I live like a minute from the Brokenland Parkway Guilford Road intersection.

I care more about Slayer and Behemoth. CC is nice too, don't mind BFMV tbh. I am definitely interested.

i see chaos as the thrashers and deathheads clash against the scene posers and emos.

Should be fun. hope I get to curb stomp a BFMV fan.

Go all gears of war on their asses ;)

I saw kse before live and the guitarist always made fun of emos.

Ironic in the way that most of the scene kids and emos like their music.

Well, that is true, and they all think it is a joke, which is the best part.

While they're wondering why a band they like is making fun of "their way of life", the metalhead population is getting ready for a feast.

I'm not sure why the keep mixing "core" bands with metal bands. Every show I go to like that ends up having fights.

MARYLAND FTW!

Centennial '06

I personally think nissan is better, bigger and nicer than merriweather. but i agree with the fact that merriweather is better, made more so because i know half the bouncers at merriweather.

i was gonna go to the show. now i am going to the show even more.

FUUUUCCCCCKKKKINNNNNN SLLLLLLAAAAYYYYYER!
