The Kinks begin writing 2008-11-17 by SylentEcho | 9 Comments | Early this month Ray Davies told the BBC that the band were beginning to write new material for a possible reunion. The interview did not clarify who the band members were at this time.
He said they aren't doing it as a nostalgia act, but only to work on new material.

When your writing "early this month" in your lead maybe you should ask yourself is this news if it happened weeks ago?
Anyways this is good news. Ray Davies last album was at least at 3.5/5 there were about 3 or 4 classics on that album. In A Moment is a great song.
I think they'll be able to put something respectable together.

| | | i think the only person that will be overly excited about this is my dad

Anyways this is good NEWS.
Biggest fail I have seen in a while.
| | | Well it is good news...which is news that is good as you may have guessed.
But it is not "NEWS" since it was on Ultimate-Guitar over 11 days ago. Two months if you count the Kinks To Reform? article which mentions that if the Kinks did reform they would write new material.
But it's not surprising, it seems like everyone checks out the news on Ultimate-Guitar...waits till it's off the front page then posts it here.
| | | Yeah, it was just funny.
| | | Well "biggest fail" is where I draw the line between laughter and tears!
