Dave Grohls new baby girl 2006-04-21 by Lexluthor | 13 Comments | Dave & Jordyn Grohl are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Violet Maye Grohl.
Named after Dave's grandmother, Violet was born Saturday, April 15th at 4:35 p.m. PST at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, weighing 6 pounds and 15 ounces, measuring 21 inches tall--or as her father describes her, "just perfect." Father, mother and child are happy, healthy and "up to (their) ears in green shits. Nice.

I like it when rock stars ( and people in general ) don't give their kids names of either inanimate objects, places, or something that just crys out 'please hate me before you know me'. So huge props to Dave!
