Horrible, as always.
| |
no kidding lol
| |
good cause shit song
| |
I've heard worse, from these guys actually
| |
Yet another video with morons holding posters...
| |
The Color Morale did this better.
Edit: And can we please NOT make "nu-metalcore" a thing... PLEASE.
| |
holy shit that chorus was bland as fuck
| |
I quickly read this as Of Monsters And Men and boy was I disappointed when I opened the link.
Fooled again!
| |
"Edit: And can we please NOT make "nu-metalcore" a thing... PLEASE."
I'm afraid it's too late, my friend. Embrace your new musical overlords.
| |
Shayley made this band. Austin was a badass in The Flood but everything else by these guys is so dull.
| |
Dayshell's music is what this band should of sounded like after The Flood. I wonder why....
| |
wow that was a lot worse than I expected.
| |
Yet another video with morons holding posters [2]
Song is pretty bland too.
| |
Who the fuck is still giving this band money and allowing them to exist
| |
Three Days Grace?
| |
This song is still ass
| |
I actually like the first song they released from this album it sounds like prime Slipknot.
| |
The first single was pretty okay but this is just awful
| |
This is ass
| |
I would have appreciated the Slipknot influenced lead single a hell of a lot more had I known this was what we'd get.. Holy shit, terrible..
| |
band really went down the shitter after the flood damn
| |
As I wrote when this song video was posted, I actually don't mind the song. Better than their last song, but Of Mice & Men clearly want radio play instead of making really cool music. You know, whatever floats your boat I guess. The video wasn't original by any means, but I guess it had a good message in there so horray for that.

Don't even bother listening to this. Just look up DayShell.
| |
When did of mice and men start ripping off every Christian rock song ever?
| |
Didn't you know that Austin is now a devout follower of God or whatever, he put a picture on Instagram of him getting baptized with this really long caption about how he's seen the light and shit.
| |
I'm honestly not surprised he turned to God with all that he's been through.
Say what you want about their music, but Austin literally continued screaming on stage when his lung collapsed (AltPress confirmed it was true), and a few of my friends saw him live and actually saw him vomit blood on stage multiple times. Not to mention all the surgeries, and organ transplants.
| |
Stylized yells
| |
this just felt raw and real
| |
This sounds just like Decyfer Down. I dug the old Of Mice and Men, but I dig this too
| |
The one thing this band semi had going for them was some solid harsh vocals. Only album I've heard from them outside of a few random songs was their S/T. A good album? No. But really hard to find fault with his screams on that album. Now they completely did away with it, or so it seems? So like what is the point of this band?
| |
"So like what is the point of this band?"
To sell merch to 14 year olds.
| |
"Stylized yells"
At this point yeah Austin should just sing. He's damn good, OMAM should pull a Mayday Parade and just do a dual clean approach.
| |
But Austin's new style of screaming is pretty cool, their songs are just boring.
| |
im a 14 year old girl and i take offense to that
| |
Song sucks and the holding posters thing needs to stop.
| |
better than anything on restoring force
| |
ya but so is the new nails album
| |
better than anything on restoring force [2]
| |
Nah man I can name at least 8 songs on Restoring Force that are better than this.
| |
Nah this thread is now about Nails. They good.
| |
Following Austin's talent from early Attack Attack! to The Flood (and its bonus tracks, which are very underrated) during the time it was happening was a unique musical thrill that I don't believe will ever be equaled by this band again.
