This isn't bad. It's kinda what I was expecting - stupidly quick blast beats with equally stupidly quick riffs and fairly standard DM vox - but it's more enjoyable than I was expecting. Not bad Mr Kollias.

It was kinda boring, but way better than the last Nile record.

So it's just blasts and double run with kick-led fills?
Guy is a beast tho

Its basically Morbid-Angel-era Behemoth... all the intentions are good, but its just something that has been done already many times. The first track sounds as if its been directly ripped off the Satanist by Behemoth... most tracks use that octave trick too with the same chords and ideas used over and over... again not to say that its a bad listen if you don't mind a little repetition but its just all been done before...

To clarify my last comment, I don't mind bands doing the same SORT of stuff, but when they don't claim a single original idea... might as well listen to the other band who did it first, no?

Sounds good, George is a fucking mad drummer.

Idk about The Morbid Angels but it sounds like Death Metal to me, just less techy guitars than Nile.
I hear those kick-led fills I was tired of hearing with Nile.

Good that this is finally out but I feel it should've been released 2-3 years ago.

first song bored me with that repetitious main riff, the rest was just okay.

After listening in full I have to say this is pretty great for a drum orientated album. Some cool jams on it for sure.
