I loved this album, glad that new fans of the band will probably be introduced this album.
Not better than HLNPIT, but it's excellent

Cool! I love The Hot Hell Ear.

Ironically just listened to that since it just went up on spotify. Doesn't touch noplace
| |
it's on par with no place imo, just different
| |
i liked it better than noplace for a while. noplace has since grown on me but its really close.
| |
I never could get into this.
Dunno why
| |
2015 has some great vinyl in store so far
| |
Has a few good tracks, a few blatant throwaways but it's what got me into them so I love it
| |
HLNPIT is so overrated..I've listened to it countless times and still don't see anything thats amazing about it.
| |
edgy opinion pal :^)
| |
Honestly though, it contains melodies that I've heard before. Nothing new or groundbreaking except some emotional lyrics.
| |
I think it's one of those albums that is built around the lyrics, that's the strongest part of the album and what sets it apart. You're right that the instrumentation/melodies aren't anything special though.
