I think a lot of commenters here aren't thinking about the fact that this is a double album. Like maybe Jenny Death is supposed to be the flip side of NOTM. Look at the album artwork. NOTM is black and white, cold and distant. While Jenny Death's cover is perfectly in focus, displayed, and colorful, almost sickeningly so. I think the stylistic gap is very much on purpose. Jenny Death will be the bangers half of The Powers That B, while NOTM was the more somewhat introspective songs. I could be wrong, but that's how I feel it could end up.
