Baring Teeth stream new album 2014-11-22 by Pon EMERITUS | 9 Comments | Baring Teeth - the technical death metal band from Dallas - have decided to stream their upcoming album Ghost Chorus Among Old Ruins on SoundCloud via Revolver Magazine.
Vocalist/guitarist Andrew Hawkins said of the new album:
"This album was a really difficult one to make. We pushed ourselves as songwriters and as musicians, but I think the extra focus we placed on crafting a complete, focused album really paid off. Every song plays into the larger whole while still being brutal and catchy, and we wrote much more concertedly this time around. Our goal was to make an album that pushes the extremes of Atrophy as far as possible, and we're really happy with the result".
The album will be released on the 25th of November in both a digital format as well as on CD, however there is no news on a vinyl release yet, although the band have indicated that they are working towards such a goal.

I was able to get my hands on a promo copy about two weeks ago, and I can safely say that this gem is in my top ten of the year. Baring Teeth fucking rocks!

| | | lol snoxall
he raises those complaints about this yet wanks all over teitanblood
| | | When I saw the title of this article, I didn't expect the band to be a technical death metal outfit.
| | | @Fear: Atrophy isn't quite as consistent as Ghost Chorus, but it's still a fantastic album if you like weird, off-the-wall death metal. You can even stream Atrophy for free at https://willowtip.bandcamp.com/album/atrophy
| | | Don't really get the appeal of dm like this tbh...
| | | @bloc: I suppose the appeal is mainly that it's something different than the hordes of modern tech death bands simply trying to blast beat and wank their way to fame. This style definitely isn't for everyone though!
| | | Snox, shut the fuck up. No one respects you.
