Vicarious definitely sounds like it could be a tool title though. But I concur, I will never, ever trust any pre-release news from these guys.

I downloaded something off Limewire that was labelled Vicarious, I know its probably some weird fake, but it did kinda sound like Tool and was NOT 7 minutes long (maybe it was only part of the song). If its not Tool, anyone know who it is?

P.S. I fvcking hope they keep Vicarious as a song title, it would be a shame to not use it

@ Tarantino's Tarantulas - That was probably the Doom 3 song that's been floating around. It sounds hell of a lot like Tool, but it's not them.

@ Iai - Why? Volcano is their label, and they are still obligated to one more release from them. I've heard rumors that they're going to move to Ipecac after 10kDays comes out, but don't take my word for it.

Thanx 5th Eye, do you have any idea who actually did the song, it is actually pretty cool even if its not Tool.

If you're talking about that fake Vicarious track thats about 2-3 minutes long, I believe it's music used in Doom 3, possibly the theme tune.
