X stream live show

2014-09-09 by JohnXDoesn't | 4 Comments
Legendary rock 'n roll band X will be playing a free show at the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame Museum tomorrow night as part of the "Legends Series" and it is being streamed live all over this great land. And world, for that matter, what with this being the internet and all.

Check it out at the link below on Sept 9, 7:00pm. Not sure if that is EST so check your local listings. X will also be performing at the Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland from September 10th - 12th. This rare three-night stand is a treat for long-time loyalists and new fans alike: X will play their first four albums from start to finish for their Cleveland stand.

yes. now lets comment on how these "legends" and other west coast acts will never see the Hall while the artsy fartsy cbgb lou reed wankers get treated like royalty. the Hall may be in Cleveland....how very folksy of them, to put it there. but it is a new york club, for sure

how X is not even mentioned on a nomination list is beyond me. The Clash, Pistols, Ramones, Pretenders, Blondie, and you name it, all in. when it comes to west coast we get some bands in, but how the hell does any one L.A. band get in before this band, X?

their influence is well known so i won't go on. they are old as shit, rock like hell, and are performing full albums back to back, and then some. also working in full acoustic shows. who the hell does that?! and they are great shows from one of the best live acts around. just watch the stream and see and hear for yourself. its punk rock, its great music, too.

oh please with X Japan lol

anyway just for posterity here at sputnik i will say i watched the webcast and it was indeed an
interview. long enough, the interviewer was an X n00b who needed rock 'n roll lessons, and X
gave him some. and the rest of us watching. they talked about songwriting and L.A. punk and the
roots of this and that and where they came from and how they see music, John talked about his
craft and "formula" for writing many X songs. it was pretty good but i am a fanboy so they could
have sat there and farted for all i cared

ok, sending this news article to the archives, now. seal it away, Jom.
