pretty cool

it's pretty wild

Album art is great and so is the track.
| |
Woot!!
| |
i listened to this and my vision tilted 45 degrees
| |
"vision adjustment to another wavelength"
| |
my fingernails grew backwards across my fingers within seconds
| |
I really wanna drive to this
| |
over the course of the last few minutes my hearts stopped pumping blood and began ghosting it
| |
so moody its insane. feel like im an alien detective
| |
Already pre-ordered.

Pre ordered
| |
Oh yeah track was great
| |
The music is great but the vocals are really out of place, and tbh kinda weak. I heard Toby say he's a self taught singer and that he never took singing lessons. I don't understand that, because it's not like lessons would hurt, and he kinda needs them.
Don't get me wrong, he's done great vocal performances on past records, but here they're pretty unconvincing.
| |
In my opinion of course.
| |
Am I just being close-minded when I say that I'm stilling waiting for something as great as Maudlin
of
the Well?
Whenever Kayo releases something, I try out random songs and get turned off by how bizarre the
tracks
seem.
But this....this is promising. Sounds promising, anyhow. I read that Driver calls Blade Runner a
reference. This is amazing news. And here I am, unable to listen to it for at least a couple more
hours.
I see the site still adds weird line breaks once you edit a post
| |
gintoh i was actually impressed with his performance at parts in this one
compared to past performances i mean
| |
Interesting sound, but definitely mind boggling and will take some listens to truly judge. The drums and bass work on the second half are heavenly. Not quite what I was expecting from a Flenser release but nothing can be shocking anymore after Botanist's newest release.
| |
not gonna listen until release date but im sure its amazing
im gonna preorder based on the reactions so far
| |
How the fuck is Toby Driver this prolific and yet consistently writes great music?
| |
Absolutely brilliant. One of my favorite bands and I am absolutely stoked for this release.
| |
Awesome, not very familiar with the band but this song is just excellent, gonna check the rest of their discog more deeply
| |
Oni check out as much as you can from this band and maudlin of the Well.
| |
Holy fucking shit
| |
This song has a fuckin atmosphere. I wanna drive to this.
| |
Toby Driver is a beautiful human being.
| |
that drumming's insane
| |
this is fucking awesome. i hated hubardo. actually i only like choirs of the eye by kayo and part the second from maudlin. hopefully this whole album gels
| |
I tried to get into Hubardo and some of Maudlin's more highly-recommended tracks, but I just couldn't enjoy any of it.
| |
Hubardo's great, just skip the first track
| |
dont skip the first track motherfucker start at 3:30 or so and its bliss onward
| |
Glad I jumped on this. Lots of interesting things going on.
Sounds like they were having fun with this.
| |
holy shit this is awesome
| |
neat
| |
Boom!
| |
This is preeeeeeeeeeety
