Yea too bad they don't sound like Tool in this song.

The song rules though, the album will be sweet.

Rishloo sound nothing like Tool, except of their first album, which I am not that keen on.

The album is going to be sick.

Dooon't kid yourself, they kept on sounding like Tool on their second album, even as they distanced themselves. It wasn't until Feathergun that they came into their own.

Song rocks. I wish the vocals were mastered a bit warmer and brought further forward in the mix, though.

Yea they could be higher, but it's pretty sweet overall.

Yeah, the song's pretty good, but the mix and some of the effects on the vocals seem kinda rough to me. I'm hoping it's a work in progress. The second half is awesome.

@GreenBaron , no seriously, Andrew's vox are (tmho) better than Maynard's because it uses them more. His voice is warmer and more passionate.

he is far better than almost anyone I've heard. I can't wait their album to come out. Some of the vocalists I would say are currently the best are Daniel Gildnelow (Pain of Salvation), Einar Solberg (Leprous), Andrew from these guys, Mike Akerfeldt (Opeth), Roy Khan (ex-Kamelot, ex-Conception) and that's pretty much all.

Yea man now that he's aged a bit over the past 5 years I'm sure he's improved so much too when we hear more vocally driven tracks.

For those talking about similarities between Tool etc. This is how I see it, from someone who has listened to hour upon hour of both bands.
On Terras Fames they sound a lot like Tool vocal-wise and also music-wise, I draw similarities between that album and Undertow.
On Eidolon they sound almost exactly like Tool from Aenima in certain moments.
On Feathergun they found their own sound and no longer sound much like Tool

On Terras Fames they sound like Tool. On Eidolon Tool are represented as their influence. On Feathergun, they're even better. (...and hell found Sputnik) No, okay, not better but warmer, and, honestly, I listen to Rishloo much more than I do with Tool and have no guilt to admit that I find it more enjoyable.
