hahaha no. didn't mean to get you or anyone worked up with my comment, i actually like you as a user. As for my opinion, it sounds like an over-produced variation of El Camino-type material. I guess I get a little heated when people are so quick to insist that they haven't been good since their classic bluesier material. I enjoy every album of theirs so far, but El Camino marked the point where they exhausted the same musical motifs to their limits. Not that EC was bad by any means, but I was hoping that the follow up would bring some kind of welcome shift in their sound. Given what I just said about this song, I'm not entirely convinced that will be the case.

this band sucks, which is fine. usually i would just go about my business and not listen to them or even discuss them. the annoying thing is that they think they are the 'be all end all' in every interview. complaining about the more mainstream pop acts (which is so fucking futile at this point), when it clear that they just wish they were as popular and made as much money as everyone else (which is bullshit bc these dudes are very popular and probably make tons more than your average artist)
