She sounds better than Angela did. The music is same-old-same-old.

wonder if the lyrics on this are gonna be as awful as they usually are now that angela is gone. that woman couldnt write a good lyric for her life.

not like it matters i certainly wont listen to this, but itll still be interesting to see.

Actually dug the solo. Rest of the song was bland as fuck. Not sure I'd go as far as to say she sounds better but she's on par for sure

can't tell if I like it. Instrumentally and vocally it's solid, but it doesn't distinguish itself from the rest of the field, i.e. every other Arch Enemy song.

No surprise that this sucks as much as the rest of the bands garbage. And this is the title track? Ha

Alissa is easily the superior vocalist and the track was decent

I just tried the link and it still works. Maybe there's a region code?

The embedding doesn't work but if you watch it on youtube it works. New vocalist is indeed better than
Angela, her screams are deeper. Solos were quite good.

News hit a few days ago, I think. Obviously they knew a while ago since this new chick did vocals on the album, so I have no idea what took them so long to announce it

^^I always thought of Arch Enemy as a hard rocking death metal band, if that makes any sense.

Rise of the Tyrant had sweet riffs and melodies, but the vocals were often awkward. I think Alissa's voice fits in well here and it sounds quite a bit like Angela's, although I'd rather hear a more natural voice from her and not whatever studio enhancements/effects she usually has on it. If AE want to actually get back in the ring then they need to actually start writing riffs again. I'm hoping the rest of the album has more death metal influence, especially since they now have a guy who played in Arsis (even if he only played on Starve for the Devil).

Song wasn't bad, just same old mediocre power ballad Arch Enemy.

yeah, she's on par. Angela really grew into some great vocals as the albums went on. Ironically enough Alissa sounds like Angela when she first started out.

Can we get a prediction if this will be better than Khaos Legions? I found that album to be unlistenable but this song wasn't BAD.

And at least Anthems of Rebellion had some heavy shit

The song is quite good! I bet the band have gotten their much needed refresh with the guitarist from
Arsis joining in 2012 and the new vocalist.

I HOPE they have some heavier stuff due to their new guitarist, but I don't think we can have any idea at this point of what this record will sound like.

I actually call them "user friendly" Death Metal to my friends.

One thing I can say is that this track is much more energetic than anything off of their few albums in terms of how it actually sounds. The production is also miles better than their last couple of albums.
