Vinnie Paul was the worst part about Pantera anyway. His drumming was incredibly boring and offered very little variety.

Ya I wasn't allowed to offer an opinion on the actual news thread but this band has only gone downhill from the start. All of the members have been in good bands on their own. Even Nothingface had some good material. But put together they just make shit music. Anyone with half a bit of intelligence is way behind 90% of the music these guys have released.

I haven't. I honestly like Nothingface the most of the bands this was formed from. Pantera doesn't count, Vinnie's had more terrible projects that render that factor almost pointless to the band. But yeah, Mudvayne's been pretty shaky for the past few releases.

Greg isn't anything special, but he fits Mudvayne well enough. Chad can go now, though. His voice is far from what it used to be. Which was above par at his best moments.

Greg suits Mudvayne because his restrained style really lets Ryan and Matt shine, but they don't really need him. Chad is definitely done for and hasn't sounded good in an eternity. At his prime though, he was a beast

I kind of resent this band because of how badly XM radio tried to cram it down my throat for a while. To this day, I still don't know if that one really obnoxious DJ actually liked them because he just has bad taste or if he was being paid to pretend they were the second coming of Pantera.
