The trick to writing a funny news article is to actually be funny. I can see why you might not have realized that

When I saw it was a remix album I kinda sighed in relief because this won't be on their sixth studio album. Damn this is bad haha

Shinoda was never the household name today, and a certain dysfuntional singer named Mark Wakefield happened to cause global warming in the comfort of his own microphone.

Reanimation was cool but we don't need another album like that, specially if that album doesn't contain a remix of points of authority or forgotten ( which were the best thing ever ). Song is just like burn it down with the remix of an EDM DJ, average as hell, not that bad but not very good either, mike shinoda part is decent but chester part is weak.

isnt the point of a remix album to remix OLD songs?

NordicMindset
September 18th 2013

Yeah this song is bad. Unnecessary dubstep and just sounds like Burn it Down Part 2, but much worse.

And Why the fuck are they making another remix album?

TheVermMaremagnum

Consider this more like an EDM track with distorsion, have seen worse, lies greed misery is more shitty than this. Song actually has a very decent live version to be honest.

They ARE working on a new studio album; it's coming out next year. Recharged is just a bonus, so appreciate don't hate. Even their unreleased (underground) music is gold. No band in history has crossed so many genre boundaries while remaining so awesome in everything they do. If you can't handle that, go listen to Disturbed; their new music sounds like dated remixes of their old albums. Same with most every other artist out there. LP For Life.

One more tool in the bag eh?

edit:
@crimsonlies Disturbed? Really? You realize most of the people on this site have a musical taste that far exceeds Linkin
Park and the rest of nu metal right? If we choose not to listen to LP, I assure you Disturbed won't be the alternative, as we
have a wide variety to choose from.

I really liked Reanimation. This song is nothing original by any means but it's not terrible. Just catchy stuff with club beats/dubstep. I really wish they would stop this shit and go back to heavy stuff like Hybrid Theory and Meteora...
