The Fall Of Troy Concert

2013-09-09 by batuhan altinbas | 45 Comments
Legendary post-hardcore/mathcore three-piece band The Fall Of Troy has recently announced a three-day reunion concert in Texas, during which they will play their first three LPs in their entirety, one per day. Original bassist and backup vocalist Tim Ward will be playing, instead of his replacement Frank Ene.

From the band's Facebook:
"Well well well... How is everyone? We know it has been quite some time since you've heard from us... But we agree it's about time we get together and play some of these songs that mean the world to us, and invite anyone who wants to come.

We will be performing at Red 7 in Austin, TX on Decrmber 27th, 28th, and 29th.

To whom it may concern :

The line-up will be as follows.
(December 27th -
Self-Titled performed in it's entirety)
(December 28th -
Doppelgänger performed in it's entirety)
(December 29th -
Manipulator performed in iTMS entirety)

V.I.P. packages available through Red 7 in Austin, TX on Dec. 25 (limited!)

We love you all, we really hope that you come out and celebrate what should be 3 very special nights.

X0X0,
Tim, Thomas, and Andrew

they broke up because they got busted for a bunch of weed while on tour and andrew (the drummer) took the fall, he wrote a massive post about it a while ago on one of their forums. seems like a genuinely awesome guy.

I want to go so bad. $60-$70 for a 3-day pass. Hmm...Austin is 14 hrs away from where I live, three days of the original lineup may be worth it though...

After debating this since the news went up and realizing that it would cost me between $250-$330 just to get to Texas prior to the tickets to the show, a place to stay and food, I probably won't go. Someone on here, buy me a poster and get it signed and mail it to me and then I'll pay you.
