great song, really like it. Probably the best from the 3 songs they released. Good riffs, the cleans sounds better than ever. Cleary some hardcore influences. Too much breakdowns, though. Can't wait for the album!

". Probably the best from the 3 songs they released."
Wow this album is gonna be really bad then
| |
high vox sound a lot like this or the apocalypse
| |
Gave up on this band after Zombie
| |
Mike's vocals are just getting shittier and shittier.
| |
This is alright. Definitely the best of the songs released so far.
| |
Well I for one enjoy his vocals. Song was actually really fucking good.
| |
I kinda like it.
| |
not bad. Mike's vocals definitely don't bother me as much as they used to.
| |
Who cares at this point. ugh
| |
Contrary to popular opinion, I thought the two songs released so far were quite good. I also prefer "Home for the Grave" to this, but this is still damn good.
| |
Still waiting on new OM&M with Aaron Pauley. At least he has decent cleans.
| |
Song was okay, but Mike's vocals, man.....
| |
Song doesn't really seem to stand out at all, though that fits in perfectly with the rest of their mediocre discography.
| |
it was alright, but i agree that mike's vocals do sound pretty bad. it seems like a ton of metalcore frontmen are losing their ability to scream these days.
| |
Song ruled.
| |
yeah this is pretty great.
| |
agreed
| |
this is better than the other two.
| |
Why do the harsh vocals change with every album? The ones here suck.
| |
song's good but Mike's voice just wants to quit. The man's vocals are pitiful; he used to have a
decent range.
| |
The instrumentation is completely ruined by Mike's horrendous vocals. For fuck sake, metalcore bands stop using cleans if the guy doing them sounds like he has a lisp.
| |
His more kind of unaltered scream isn't THAT bad. But that chorus is awful though and I can't stand the production.
| |
yeah i agree with manicmonkey he sounds a lot like this or the apocalypse
| |
That's an insult to Ricky from TOTA. The style is definitely close at times but Mike's execution has
nothing on Rick's.
| |
i like that riff. song is ok
| |
bad, as usual.
| |
Is it bad that I sorta like the screams? I mean the band hasn't ever interested me outside of morbid curiousity and the cleans are super lame, but his rougher voice is sorta cool.
| |
it's bad you like something yes
| |
"Is it bad that I sorta like the screams? I mean the band hasn't ever interested me outside of morbid curiousity and the cleans are super lame, but his rougher voice is sorta cool."
yes, they are. Sounds way better than dead throne
| |
I knew it, better stay negative at all times.
| |
Way better than the other 2 garbage songs.
| |
better than their other stuff. massive improvement.
| |
i mean yeah Durrzo Ricky is a way better vocalist but he definitely sounds similar in his inflections to him in this song
| |
Better than the last two songs but that isn't really saying much.
| |
i dont see why people hate the vocals so much honestly. they arent that bad
| |
Loved every song so far, this is no exception. Stoked to jam to this.
| |
Sounds like a copy of this or the apocalypse
| |
Awesome song. Been digging these guys since they ditched the stupid song titles.
| |
Yeah, definitely the best out of the 3 songs released so far. I just want them to release Gloom because that sounded better than this.
| |
Pretty boring but not awful. I didn't think the screams were any worse than dead throne. If anything maybe a tiny bit better.
| |
Apparently Mike is going for the shitty vocals according to their studio update.
| |
Listen to Rings of Saturn you robots, Mike's all bout dem FEEEEELS
| |
I just watched the update. If his vocals weren't absolute shit I might agree with his idea of trying to do more raw takes to get emotion across, but his scream is just SO ugly, when it sounds like it's about to break I don't feel emotion, I just want to cringe.
| |
His highs are so cringeworthy. I thought they were pretty shitty on Dead Throne too. I mean I guess this song isn't bad, but it's nothing to write home about either. It'd be WAAAAAY better with a different vocalist.
| |
best of the 3
| |
His screams are bit more natural this time around. Its not layered as much as they use to be, which I can respect since it will most likely sound the same live. It is exactly what The Color Morale did and after sometime I dug it a lot.
| |
Vocals kick ass, fuck your religion.
| |
haha so many haters on this site, personally love the song
| |
I like how they added clean and melodic hooks to juxtapose the heavy riffs and harsh screaming, its so unique and deep
| |
How the hell did you guys not like this song? Classic TDWP.. was great.
| |
The screams sound good. Who's doing the cleans? Didn't the clean vocalist leave?
| |
High school me would be stoked, now...not so much.
| |
It's fun hearing Jeremy's voice in this!
| |
