Pretty cool. Arch/Matheos meets Parallels.
|
| |
Great, will listen asap.
Edit: The song is good enough to stimulate my appetite for the new album.
|
| |
wasn't too impressed with the song for some reason. can't wait till the album comes out though.
|
| |
The other songs on the radio all sound pretty good...I wish I knew what they were but I don't feel
like listening to the whole thing to find out
Fates song sounds pretty good.
|
| |
holy FUCK
|
| |
god damn marathon at 14:30
|
| |
song was good but ugh needs more time dig changes rip zonder
|
| |
Anyone knows the drummer of the album?
|
| |
Bobby Jarzombek is drumming for this one.
|
| |
really good song
|
| |
After first listen I enjoyed it. DAT fucking solo. Looking forward to better quality.
rip zonder [2], But Bobby's a monster esp when it comes to technicality so looking forward to his
contributions.
|
| |
Fuck it I'm jamming some Arch/Matheos now m/ hard
|
| |
Album art is so meh
|
| |
I like it. It's back to the Parallels/Inside Out days... kind of like this song.
|
| |
It seems so simple and boring. Song definitely reminds me of Parallels/Inside out era with some Arch/Matheos. Not going to listen to the song too much in this crap quality though
|
| |
"god damn marathon at 14:30"
I heard that too.
Ray Alder is still hanging on to that FWX sound. But Matheos can still solo like nobody's business.
|
| |
The first solos prob Frank though, Jim hasn't been soloing as much. Ray can't do much else anymore
unfortunately
|
| |
He doesn't need to. He seems to be doing just fine with Fates and Redemption.
|
| |
"Ray Alder is still hanging on to that FWX sound"
I think this is with regards to the vocal style. Ray Alders range has diminished considerably, this is what I was referring to :-/
|
| |
Sounds good.
|
| |
--I think this is with regards to the vocal style. Ray Alders range has diminished considerably, this is what I was referring to :-/--
That's what I was commenting on. I think his vocal style is just fine with Fates Warning and Redemption. I don't think the music would fit the higher vocals of the No Exit/Perfect Symmetry era... I doubt those two bands' leaders would even want that style if Ray could do it.
|
| |
HOW THE FUCK I HAVENT HEARD THIS YET?
|
| |
Needs more Zonder.
Anyways, really fucking good song. Fates Warning stick to the sound that IMO suits them best (from the PS/Parallels era).
|
| |
You think this song sounds anything like either Perfect Symmetry or Parallels?
|
| |
It's like Arch/Matheos meets Parallels.
|
| |
Yeah, its like the commercial sound of Parallels with a bit of thar proggier edge that Perfect Symmetry had....
But rip zonder [3]
|
| |
Great song. I wish Arch was on vocals, but Ray actually sounds pretty good here.
|
| |
"Yeah, its like the commercial sound of Parallels with a bit of thar proggier edge that Perfect Symmetry had...."
Not even close. Go listen to FWX dammit, it's a good album.
|
| |
Song sounds awesome so far. Yeah, it's clearly compressed for the website, but it's nice that the bass is nice and clear.
