Nirvana re-issue trailer

2013-07-11 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 18 Comments
A new video has surfaced on the internet announcing the release of a 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of grunge trio Nirvana's final studio album, In Utero.

The video includes a rare promo clip made in 1993 to promote the initial release, which features the band and Bob "Bobcat" Goldthwait in drag as pregnant women giving birth. It can be viewed on Nirvana's official YouTube page here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4-uet7twNu0

The reissue is set to be released in September 2013. It is currently unknown what will be included in this edition of the album.

Somewhere, out there in the world, Courtney love is making money.

I'm pretty sure Courtney doesn't get anything now, it's just the label, Frances (now she's an adult) and Dave and Krist. So it's probably the label now.

I like the advert though, it's weird. Show's Kurt's warped sense of humour.

Even though I know they constantly squeeze this band for all it's worth, I'll be buying this....

Sometimes I get the feeling there might be more stuff from the 1994 sessions which never got released cos Courtney/the label want to sneak them out later on to squeeze out more money.

Also I wonder whether to promote this re-issue they'll finally release that Pennyroyal Tea single that got scrapped because of Kurt's death the month it was meant to be released.

It's all good, as long as my man Krist gets his piece of pie.

Chances are it'll be like the Nevermind re-issue with the original mix as a bonus disk. I would like to see Pennyroyal Tea as a single tbh because they were working on a video but it got scrapped for obvious reasons.
