Thanks, I'm working on it. I hope I won't disappoint... I like the record, but so far Trouble With Angels is slightly better for me. Still, this is a strong effort.

This is good, but it sounds nothing like The Trouble with Angels

Will check this out. I'm expecting a decent rock album.

It's a bit more polished and electronic than Trouble With Angels.

Album is solid, very different from other Filter releases.

I love Filter for their ability to produce subtle, solid rock albums that grow with time. I think Angels was their strongest effort. Although, they intentionally stated in interviews that they followed a process of using 'Hey Man Nice Shot' as the stencil by which to create the harder songs on this newer album. I would say they are fast becoming a one trick pony and Richard Patrick is unfortunately not as talented in almost all aspects of musicianship as his former leader and bandmate Reznor.
I have all their albums except for Anthems. Heard only a couple of tracks from The Sun and so far I really like the song 'Surprise' which is beautiful and simple. I would think this album's going to be somewhat like The Amulgamut in impact.
