So they mask their shitty tunes with special effects and probably a subpar plot line? They have the money to hire Michael Gay so why didn't they just go all the way and blow up a ton of shit up over their macho, mass-majority tunes and be done with it? 3D = 99% shit. New Star Trek being the exception to the rule cuz they focused on a solid story with character development.
