Scarlett O'Hara Reunites

2012-12-12 by ZoneOut | 32 Comments
McAllen Texas based Metalcore band, Scarlett O'Hara, have reunited after going on hiatus in 2011. Recently, the band posted a status on their official Facebook page:

"After seeing the popular demand by our incredible and undying fans, we have decided to reunite in order to continue doing what we truly love. Not only for our supporters but for the sake of creating the music we enjoy making once again. We would like to continue to be there for those of you who found our album as an escape from the bad moments in your life. We want to thank YOU, our true fans, for never losing love or hope in us. We have much coming to you within the next couple of months, but you can be sure to expect new music, news of our next singles and many more. Spread the word, tell your friends and we will have a lot more details on the way shortly.
Love,
Eddie, Rene, Alek, Logan, Arnie.
"

Scarlett released their one and only album Lost in Existence while a part of Rise Records but eventually lost several members and dropped off a headlining tour and were subsequently dropped from the label.

It is currently unknown when the band will record new music and start touring again.

These guys are from a city 30 minutes from where I live. They still suck, though.

Pretty much when it comes to their other bands^ lol

But I personally thought they showed some promise, I really do enjoy the title track from their debut,
aside from those awful low screams that were on it

McAllen bands? Yup.

I saw them live and their tone was horrible. This was after they got signed and stuff.

I was referring to the comment about their spin off bands/side projects, but I haven't heard good things about these guys live. But judging the song the singer made with Nick Barham, he sounds improved. I'm not sure about the other members though

These guys aren't horrible but they aren't fantastic. Good for them though. As long as they do what makes them happy, can't bitch about that.
