Not brootal enough but its ight
|
| |
Best band ever
|
| |
This band needs to go away.
|
| |
Their new stuff sounds fairly different from the other material. Not sure if I'll love it but it's growing on me.
|
| |
Man, I wish Phil Labonte would just join a different band because his vocals are pretty damn good. Only person I like from this group.
|
| |
I think you mean Phil Bozeman
|
| |
Phil Labonte is in All That Remains, not Whitechapel.
Edit: also, song is boring.
|
| |
Lol yeah
|
| |
Anyone named Phil should be castrated immediately.
|
| |
The chugging killed any potential that opening riff gave this song.
|
| |
This band has pissed away everything they had going for em
|
| |
This is more meh than meh....
|
| |
Phil labonte shits all over bozeman. won't even be listening to this - never liked this band.
|
| |
I hope you guys could tell I was being sarcastic. Song isn't the worst thing ever, but it's the most mainstream sounding deathcore I've ever heard if that makes any sense, definitely some Slipknot influence goin on here.
|
| |
Even the vocals sound bland compared to their older stuff. This is the worst Whitechapel song yet. And I'm one of the few who enjoyed ANEOC. New album's gonna be awful.
|
| |
whats up with all the Nu-core going on nowadays?
|
| |
Now that Slipknot isn't big anymore, it's now cool to be like them. So far it's only Suicide Silence and Whitechapel doing it so far.
|
| |
Wow, oops easy to make the Phil mistake but yes I meant Bozeman.
|
| |
Yeah, true.
|
| |
The song is very average and has way too much chug. Its repetitive as fuck.
I liked the other song better. Minus the spoken versus though
|
| |
I love this band live. Can't make it through their recorded material though
|
| |
When this band finally goes under, Phil will won't have to worry about finding a new band.
|
| |
Jun jun jun junjun jun
bozeman is a beast vocalist though.
|
| |
So much chug
|
| |
Also lol @ "‘I Dementia’ gives Whitechapel fans their regular dose of atmosphereic, chugging deathcore"
|
| |
well it lives up to that statement
|
| |
lemme guess, this sucks.
but i did see these guys at warped a few years ago and they were pretty great live.
|
| |
also, M/ Blade
|
| |
So goddamn boring.
|
| |
Emmure does Nu Core best imo
|
| |
urgh, so dull
|
| |
chugs hard
|
| |
I found it interesting... Yeah it's a little bit slower but, I still enjoyed it.
|
| |
interesting?
|
| |
better than some of the crap off their last album.
|
| |
Not at all though.
|
| |
it had some cool bits but too much hai we r meshuggah, listen to this jun.
Blasting over slow chugging sounds crap to me.
Devolver was great though.
|
| |
I thought every song at least had it's own identity. This sounds like The Acacia Strain to me.
|
| |
reprogrammed to hate was sick too, chino and phil sound awesome.
It wasnt a terrible album, but when it was bad it was bad.
|
| |
Yeah most certainly was not perfect. I have a feeling this new album is going suck pretty hard though based on what they've released so far.
|
| |
They are trying to be somewhat different but these things usually fail or succeed, tends to be no middle ground
|
| |
actually listened to this and it wasn't terrible, just meh.
|
| |
ehhh whitechapel...
|
| |
band fucking sucks dick
|
| |
I like Bozeman's growls over his screams by far. Also, keep in mind how long they could have been touring too.
it had some cool bits but too much hai we r meshuggah, listen to this jun.
I can't tell if you're saying meshuggah sucks or something. If so this comment is one of the worst I've read.
|
| |
I dont get why its so hard for these types of bands to try something even slightly different.
|
| |
Either they're too lazy, just want to give the fans the same junz filled music, or really have no idea how to progress and write cohesive songs.
|
| |
I do hear some nu-metal influence on this...where is it coming from and why are more bands doing it nowadays?
Blasting over slow chugging sounds crap to me.
morbid angel do it pretty well
|
| |
Not bad, I am quite fond of the guitar.
|
| |
shit song
|
| |
"morbid angel do it pretty well"
KILLACOP KILLACOP KILLAKILLAKILLACOP
|
| |
"I dont get why its so hard for these types of bands to try something even slightly different."
one of them tried too hard, and it ended up being attack attack
it's not safe for deathcore to be too experimental
|
| |
"people keep praising the vocalist but they played a show I attended
and it was clear just how much studio magic goes into his screams."
Either he was having an off night or the venue you go to sucks dick. He is amazing live and has consistently had good vocals every time I've seen them (seen WhiteChapel 4 times live). And their guitarists are good, not saying they are the best in the genre but nonetheless, very talented guitarists. Sounds like you just don't like WhiteChapel and will throw insults at them for no reason.
|
| |
"winds of plague, emmure, monsters, scare don't fear, chelsea grin."
The Last Ten Seconds Of Life even did a cover of a Limp Bizkit song.
|
| |
KILLACOP KILLACOP KILLAKILLAKILLACOP
well...not anymore lol
|
| |
Definitely meh.
|
| |
I once met a coworker's boyfriend. He said he was into metal and I immediately said "Aww yeah!? Me too!"
Then he proceeded to play me his vocal covers of Whitechapel songs.
No amount of internet facepalm can contain my agony.
|
| |
^^^ Seems rather irrelevant to the post... but cool story I guess?
|
| |
if only they could make another album like "A New Area Of Curoption"
|
| |
"IM GOING OFF THE RAILS ON A CRAZY TRAINNNNN"
Go listen to the opening riff now.
|
| |
