i fucking love this band, but having preordered the album, i'm gonna wait til it arrives for my fix...

beautiful

I preordered it too. I don't like it as much as Ups and Downsizing so far though. It seems too "moderately paced" ya
know? Actually reminds me of the Foo Fighters (which isn't a bad thing at all).

But new Swellers AND Wonder Years albums next week!! OMGODZZZ
|
| |
I heard the single off of this it was catchy and had alot of energy, however I didn't care for it after repeated listens. dunno why
|
| |
Hoping to have the review up on the weekend some time. After a couple of listens, it is strong. I only got that "moderately paced" feeling right near the end. There's a definite Fooeys vibe at times, but I also got an 'American Slang' feel out of it too. These guys are just rock solid.
|
| |
I also sensed a slight Gaslight Anthem influence in there too. Just seems like more of a rock album than a "punk" album, which isn't a necessarily bad because they pull it off so well.
|
| |
i've seen these guys like a dozen times. nicest dudes ever. hopefully this is better than their last one.
|
| |
Digging this so hard.
|
| |
Satellite, I thought their last one was their best & if anything, this album seems to be most similar to that LP. I mean, there isn't exactly any skate-punk on here.
|
| |
"hopefully this is better than their last one."
hey now
|
| |
i just sorta dug their more skate-influenced sound. it wasn't a bad album by any stretch.
|
| |
kinda good. 'Prime Meridian' is awesome.
|
| |
fucking great album
