This is DEFINITELY dubstep influenced. However, I'm finding it more comparable to Flying Lotus.

I can hear some influence from the likes of Burial buried (har) in the background, but I wouldn't say it's the most prominent influence. Like I said, most of this sounds more like Flying Lotus.

They're not completely original, seriously. They take influences from contemporary bands often, but they do have a way of making the sound their own. Seeing as the band are influenced by those two artists, and seeing as there are similar sounds, I really don't see how anyone can deny the similarities. But again, they have a way of making it their own.

Haha, well "Hail to the Thief" and "In Rainbows" were relatively safe compared to "Kid A" and "Amnesiac", so this is their first largely experimental album in a long time.

And yeah Willie, definitely. This thing is gonna take a few listens to even understand whether or not I like it. I mean, it's good, but it's definitely different, so I have no idea where it places itself. Compare that to "In Rainbows", when I heard that I already knew it was up there with "OKC" and 'Kid A" for me.

This album = a million times better with good headphones. A lot of drum stuff/rhythm stuff you can't hear well without them.

The album is surprisingly danceable. The drums and bass are incredible...and there's so many weird ambient vibes...awesome.

I think the most valid theory so far about another album is that there will be a second disc (like to "In Rainbows") that will ship with the 2-LP vinyl version. With only eight songs it would explain why there's 2-LPs.
