Well they have both been touring lately. And I think the pixies are poor as fuck and need to tour or they have to get a job.

Pavement live is splendid.

i sorta doubt the pixies are poor. the residuals from fight club alone probably equate to more than any of us make in a year.

no they have a really excellent documentary that is pretty much based around them having to get back together cause they were broke.

Yeah...Pixies records sell pretty consistently. Kim has royalties from The Breeders, Frank Black has a solo career...they can't be that bad off.

But yeah, hopefully I can blow a good chunk of this semester's financial aid on a plane ticket to CA, because this lineup looks amazing.

April 15th seems pretty tame (Cee Lo Green, Sleigh Bells, Tame Impala, !!!, and Titus Andronicus would be cool to see)

April 16th looks AMAZING (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Gogol Bordello ALONE make that day fantastic)

and April 17 looks pretty awesome (Kanye, The Strokes, The National, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 OH SHIT)

there's always one or two impossible choices but hopefully it's not too bad. at Sasquatch I had to choose between Mumford and Sons and Minus The Bear (picked the former) and at Werchter the biggest conflict was Rodrigo Y Gabriela vs. Regina Spektor. but I went with Regina, obvs.
