smooth.
|
| |
that was pretty sweet
|
| |
That was a great fucking video and song. I don't know why I still haven't gotten that album yet.

|
| |
I didnt think it was that bad. Video is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
| |
were those robots having robot sex?
|
| |
sounds sweet. checking this out now.
|
| |
It's their worst album in a decade.
Yeah but that song and Time Flies are good.
|
| |
has a lot more great songs then just those
|
| |
Blind House, I Drive the Hearse....
|
| |
it does have quite a bit of filler, but all of the actual songs on it are great
|
| |
tool video with porcupine tree song
|
| |
amazing video , amazing song , amazing album , amazing band
|
| |
The only reason this is their "worst album in a decade" is because they kept getting better and better from In Absentia onwards...there was bound to be a point where it dipped down a little bit...especially with how awesome FOABP and Nil Recurring were. Still has some quality songs on it and the groove on this one is great.
|
| |
this is cool in my books
|
| |
music was alright, but lyrics were kinda weak for me
but hey, at least now i can check off "watch robot porn" off my bucket list
|
| |
I'd have to disagree...save what happens now the other tracks are pretty mint. Cheating the Polygraph has badass grooves by Gavin all throughout.
|
| |
what just happened
|
| |
album is decent
|
| |
yup
|
| |
Gavin is awesome.
|
| |
yup
|
| |

|
| |
I prefer Nil Recurring to FOABP.
|
| |
oh hell no, FOABP is the best. although buying new soul is a fucking sweet song
|
| |
A-am-sing-ging-ly-rics-and-am-my-ster.....ious
Yeah. Not so much. Better luck next time PT. Annoying as hell as per usual. Decent video though.
|
| |
"Annoying as hell per usual"
Honestly every album from 2001-2008 that they made has been great.
|
| |
"It's their worst album in a decade."
LOL
Wrong,
Album is among their best imo, and
Steven and Gavin are both gods.
|
| |
latest album was seriously boring
|
| |
nah
|
| |
It is their "worst" album in the past decade but I still think it's alright.
|
| |
Seeing them play it straight through live changed my life.
|
| |
Seeing them play it straight through live changed my life.
how so? did you have your first orgasm? if so, then that makes more sense i guess
|
| |
not a huge fan of this song, but the incident is the shit. the whole of disk one played in one go is amazing. it was perfect seeing it live.
|
| |
Seeing them play it straight through live changed my life. [2]
|
| |
These guys are incredible live...I love their albums but they sound so much better live.
|
| |
Is "The Incident" really a 55-minute song?
Like, "Anesthetize" was 17 minutes, but 55?
Kind of pretentious-prog, dare I say.
Edit: I apologize, it's amazing.
|
| |
nah incident isnt really 1 song.... pretentious move on wilson's part
|
| |
Im with 1drummer
Saw them play it through live, was epic
Best night of my life, Bonnie the Cat was played in the 2nd half
Vide is cool but a bit fucked up
|
| |
you can't hear the music over the "look at us playing "PROG"'
What? If anything, they focused more on the songwriting and less on the prog.
|
| |
^^ pretty much
|
| |
Also someguest, I know Fear of a Blank Planet was a favourite of yours and if anything, that album displayed Steven Wilson at his most self-indulgent. That was his more proggy album out of his discography.
|
| |
FOABP wasn't all that great besides Anesthetize. The title track and Way Out of Here are pretty good too but i'd take the whole of Nil Recurring over half of FOABP.
|
| |
sadly, i've never given these guys a listen. i feel like i'm missing out on a lot though.
|
| |
Worst in a decade is sort of kind. It was probably their worst album since their debut, random EPs and compilations notwithstanding.
|
| |
Great song. The Incident (album) rules too.
|
| |
Deadwing was their best album. The Incident may be there worst in a while, but i have to agree they havent released a bad album since Gavin joined the band and this one was decent but not amazing which made it sound like it's terrible
And I hate I Drive the Hearse. That song annoys me sooo much
|
| |
Song is prolly my favorite off the 2nd disc. Beat has Gavin at some of his grooviest.
