British pop-rock-turned-dance trio Busted have released a new music video for the brand new track "On What You're On", from the upcoming reunion album Night Driver. The track shows the strong Daft Punk-esque dance music influence that is set to permeate the new album's musical style.
Darksynth artist GosT is streaming his new album Non Paradisi and its bonus EP - Non Paradisi (Secret Arcana) - via a day-early release on Noisey and Bandcamp. The album is a loose musical adaptation of John Milton's epic Paradise Lost.
Post-Hardcore band We Came As Romans have released a new song titled "Waste Age." The song is a notable return to their metalcore roots after their last album forayed into Alternative Rock. No details about a new album are currently available. The song is currently streaming via SharpTone Records's Youtube channel.
Legendary artist Kate Bush has announced a 3CD/4LP release of her 2014 performances at the London's Hammersmith Apollo entitled Before the Dawn. The show was Kate Bush's first performance in 35 years and includes suites focusing on her 1985 album Hounds of Love and her 2005 album Aerial.

California hard-rock/metalcore group Wovenwar have officially confirmed that they have parted ways with guitarist Phil Sgrosso. Phil was one of the main founders of the band and has committed to both their self-titled debut and their upcoming album Honor Is Dead, which is scheduled to be released on October 21st.
Phil issued a statement:
As some of you may have heard by now, I have decided to part ways with Wovenwar. Without getting into too many specifics, I have found myself more interested in pursuing other musical endeavors right now than devoting myself to the band.
Regarding the new album, I was fully involved with the writing and recording process just like any other album, as well as handling a larger portion of the producer duties and guitar engineering. Japanese J-pop/heavy metal phenoms Babymetal have officially teamed up with Warner Brothers to create a digital live-action/animated series. The series is currently under development by WB's Blue Ribbon Content Studio, though the now-untitled project is still in ongoing talks with multiple distributions.
The series tells of a story where a magical world filled with heavy-metal music comes under attack by a mysterious force, where the fox-god Kitsune (whom the band "worships") sends Babymetal to help save the day.
The band's manager and creator Key Kobayashi (Kobametal) will also be producing.
Strung Out are streaming a new track titled "Crows", which is a B-Side from their latest record Transmission Alpha Delta.
The song was originally released for a Fat WreckChords Flexi vinyl comp that came out earlier this year. Strung Out also plan on getting back in the studio starting in 2017 to make a new full length LP.
Punk Veterans Pulley have announced that they have a new album in the making and have just signed to El Hefe of Nofx's Label Cyber Tracks. El Hefe said in a recent statement regarding the band:
“I’m stoked to be part of their upcoming album on their 20th anniversary. The coolest part about signing Pulley is that they are very easy to work with, they have great attitudes, and they are very appreciative.”
This will be Pulley's first album in 12 years since the release of 2004's Matters LP.

Nu-metal pioneers Korn have released a third single from their upcoming album "The Serenity of Suffering". This latest track features Corey Taylor of Slipknot fame contributing vocals. The album is set to be released on the 21st of October, and marks the band's second release since the return of founding member and guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch.
With just over a week before the release of their comeback album 13 Voices, Sum 41 have released the official music video for the song "God Save Us All (Death to POP)". Their new album is out October 7 via Hopeless Records.
Italian power-cheese-metal titans have now officially confirmed that they have parted way with their longtime vocalist Fabio Lione. Linoe first joined the band in 1995 where he continued with them for every album since. Lione in the meantime has dedicated his full attention to his other band Eternal Idol, who is scheduled to released their debut album The Unrevealed Secret on December 2nd.

Alternative Pop Group Night Riots have released a new song titled "Don't Kill The Messenger" off of their upcoming third album "Love Gloom" which is slated for release via Sumerian Records on October 21st.

Researchers at Sony CSL Research laboratory have announced that their AI robot is capable of writing music, and they've released the first song written by the AI using various forms of "data optimizations."
The song is titled "Daddy's Car" and is pop music in the vein of the Beatles, and other similar pop acts of the time period. The song will be on an album released by the AI on an unknown date in 2017.
American rock band Brand New have released an "apology letter" detailing the delay of their (final?) studio album, and confirm they will be breaking up. The band have said they have a collection of songs that could be their final album, but as it stands, they are not yet content enough to release it as it is.
They confirm there will be no new album this year (2016), and that their next album is likely to be their last.
