Prog rock band ORBS have realeased a new EP, entitled These People Are Animals. This marks the first material the band has put out since 2010's Asleep Next to Science.

Shimon Moore, frontman of Sick Puppies, has announced his departure from the Australian rock band in order to "pursue other endeavors".
The remaining members have released this statement on their Facebook page:
"Sick Puppies are undergoing some exciting changes and evolving. Former member Shimon Moore is no longer with the band and is pursuing other endeavors. We are currently in the studio writing material for our upcoming studio album while auditioning new singers. As always, there is nothing we enjoy more than creating and performing music for our fans. Monuments to an Elegy, titled "Being Beige". The release of Monuments to an Elegy
will be the first of two albums released in succession, preceding 2015's Day for Night.

Everybody's favorite swing metal band (!), Diablo Swing Orchestra, have just released a new single, entitled 'Jigsaw Hustle', through their YouTube page.
The single finds the eclectic and ever-evolving band take influences from 80's disco (!!!), and it's the first written after the departure of Annlouice Loegdlund, opera singer and previous vocalist; in her replacement, singer Kristin Evegard will take the vocal duties of the group from now on.
Finland's Circle of Contempt have posted a new video to go with their previously released single "Redefine".
Details about the band's sophomore effort have been scarce, but a Q1 2015 release seems likely.

Swedish death metal band At The Gates have posted a video for their song 'Death And The Labyrinth' at the official YouTube channel of Century Media Records.
The song is taken from the band's new album At War With Reality which will see an official release on October 28.

Pop rock band Fall Out Boy have released a video for their latest single, 'Centuries', which has been confirmed to be the lead single for their as-of-yet untitled sixth album.
In other news, they have also released a new song, entitled 'Immortals'. The song is part of the soundtrack for the animated Disney movie Big Hero 6, which is scheduled for a November 7th release in the US.
Midwestern metalcore band Housefire! have release their long awaited mixtape, Fall Mixtape 2k14.

Pain of Salvation are currently streaming the track 'Linoleum' off of their upcoming acoustic album, Falling Home.

James Blake has been keeping busy, releasing a collaboration with The xx’s Jamie xx, a remix of Outkast’s 'International Players Anthem', and singles like '200 Press', 'Roman Patience', and '40455'.
During last night's broadcast on Blake's Radio 1 residency, he premiered yet another new track, this one entitled 'Building It Still'.
The Toronto trio BADBADNOTGOOD recently announced a new album called Sour Soul that
features Ghostface Killah on every song. It'll be out February 17 in the U.S. and February 16 internationally via Lex Records.
The two previously collaborated on a track earlier this year with Danny Brown and have released the second single from the album 'Gunshowers', which features Elzhi. Both tracks will appear on the album.
