John Nolan/Jesse Lacey Share Project 3 replies

After an odd and tumultuous attempt by a "fan" to sell burnt copies of John Nolan and Jesse Lacey's high school project entitled Gudmunder Bjornsen for $250, John Nolan has decided to release it himself.

The fan originally tried to sell a burned copy for $250 at starting bid on ebay due to the original being "scratched and skipping". After a GoFundme was started to get fans to collectively pitch in for the album Nolan decided to release it on his own to stop the fan from profiting. The album can be listened to on youtube.

New Paradise Lost Video 12 replies

British gothic metal legends Paradise Lost have released a new video called "Beneath Broken Earth" from their forthcoming album.

Regarding the video, guitarist Greg Mackintosh said: "I fucking hate metal band performance videos, so when I got told that we needed to do one, I was obviously annoyed but then came the idea to do a performance video of utter misery. The slowest song we have ever recorded. "Beneath Broken Earth" is utter, old-school PARADISE LOST doom/death song and doing a performance video with our miserable, old faces barely moving in a crappy, old basement was too much to resist."

The new Paradise Lost album will be released on June 1st.

New Medeia Video 0 replies

Finland death metal group Medeia have released a new video for their song "Franpire", that is off their latest EP Manning The Helm, which will be releasing sometime this summer.

Along with the video, the band had a brief message about the history of recording the song: "This track was (for some reason) so challenging to compose we almost threw it out. Something in it kept us coming back to the drawing board time and time again to figure it out ... Roughly six months ago we had to carry our equipment out of a burning building. The central unit containing Franpire along with several other audio projects was the first item to be carried out on a rainy Tuesday morning."
