Norwegian black metallers Taake have released details concerning their sixth full-length
album entitled Stridens hus, set to be released December 8th.
The album will be recorded and produced by Bjørnar Nilsen of Vulture Industries, with
frontman Hoest recording all instruments. Additional contributions will come from Taake

Dark Essence Records has also debuted "Det fins en Prins", the third track off the album.
Tommy Rogers, vocalist for Between the Buried and Me has released a new track titled I Appear/Disappear off his upcoming album, Modern Noise. The new album is set to be released on November 25th in America.

Ling Tosite Sigure have released a music video for their new single, 'Enigmatic Feeling', set to be released on November 5th.
The song has been used as the opening song for the anime Psycho Pass 2.
This single will also feature another unreleased song called 'Dynamite Nonsense', and marks their first release since 2013's i'mperfect.

The song is taken from their, as yet untitled, new album, which currently has no confirmed release date.

American death metal band Job for a Cowboy have chosen Metalsucks to debut the
second single from their upcoming record, Sun Eater.
The track,entitled 'Eating the Visions of God', will see a physical release along with the album on November 11 via Metal Blade Records.

The Faceless have lost even more members this year as bassist Evan Brewer and drummer Alex Rüdinger have decided to part ways with the band.
Brewer stated that he believed it was time for him to move on from The Faceless and venture into new musical territory, with Rüdinger making a similar statement. No statement has been made by the band about whether or not they will still be playing Knotfest on the 25th.

Shimon Moore, frontman of Sick Puppies, has announced his departure from the Australian rock band in order to "pursue other endeavors".
The remaining members have released this statement on their Facebook page:
"Sick Puppies are undergoing some exciting changes and evolving. Former member Shimon Moore is no longer with the band and is pursuing other endeavors. We are currently in the studio writing material for our upcoming studio album while auditioning new singers. As always, there is nothing we enjoy more than creating and performing music for our fans.
